Jupiter, from Holst’s “The Planets”

Jupiter, from Gustav Holst’s Planet Suites, is one of my favorite classical music pieces

In particular, I love the theme that begins around minute 2:50 (depends on the exact speed of the recording you’re listening to). It feels so grounded yet majestic, so sentimental yet hopeful. Every time I hear this theme it reminds me that I’m part of something so much bigger than myself.

I’ve been hearing Jupiter a lot lately, because it’s played in an episode of Bluey and it’s in one of the classical music books that Kieran (especially) loves.
